RESTORE - REFRESH - RENEW
Our specialty is restorative hospitality. Whether it's finding housing for retreat needs, coaching through tough times, or finding resources for the people who run toward emergencies, Crossroads Mission Care is there for you!
With 20 years in the mission field, Patti has been called to use her master's degree in counseling and love of people to help those who serve others to heal and thrive in their calling.
Having done ministry in four countries on three continents, Gil's heart is for equipping and connecting those who serve with those who would aid their mission. Meeting their needs will help them stay in the field and on mission longer.
Gil & Patti Carter
have been in the mission field for over 20 years in Asia, Europe & the United States. Both have master's degrees, Patti in counseling and Gil in education. Having seen the tremendous attrition rate among missionaries in the field, they formed Crossroads Mission care to get missionaries what they need to stay in the field. This includes emotional, prayer, and logistical support.
Seeing similar issues across other groups who work for others unselfishly, Crossroads' mission has expanded and now includes programs for first responders, pastors, and military families.
One thing we have found that all these communities have in common is self neglect. When you pour out your lives for others, you sometimes forget to take care of yourself. That's where Crossroads Mission Care comes in!
All these groups run toward danger, tragedy, and pain with the sole purpose of helping. Physically, emotionally, spiritually, or preemptively, these people race to the scene to be a part of the solution. In the process, they get wounded, literally and figuratively.
Our mission is to restore those who serve. We do this by coaching through hard times, recognizing their sacrifices, giving them a peaceful place to stay, or simply providing a compassionate ear. This is done by our ministry staff and/or dozens of amazing people who partner with us to make an impact in the lives of heroes. If you feel led to do that, there is always room on the team!
